Hello
Hi! I'm Sarah Angstadt!
I'm a sophomore at Agnes Scott College studying English Literature and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies. When I'm not being a nerd about mildly obscure classic literature, I work as an editor on Agnes Scott's literary magazine, the AURORA. In the future, I hope to work in publishing in some sort of way, and my dream since high school has been to be a copyeditor. I also serve as an Admissions Ambassador and assist possible students in choosing the right college for them.
What I'm All About

I am one of those ̶w̶e̶i̶r̶d̶o̶s̶ people who enjoys writing essays more than anything else. I enjoy reading and writing about various subjects, but I have a soft spot for early-to-mid 20th-century literature, such as books like The Naked Civil Servant, No Longer Human, The Great Gatsby, and The Waiting Years.

Despite my proclivity for classic literature, I'm also very invested in contemporary literature, particularly in issues of censorship. I'm deeply passionate about preventing censorship in the literary world, particularly the censorship of stories from marginalized writers, as their stories deserve to be told and it is our responsibility as readers to learn what we can from them.
